The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power and Engineering Society(PES) day is an annual event organized by the PES, a non-profit organization driven by volunteers worldwide to educate society by providing scientific and engineering information on electrical power and energy for the betterment of society. PES Day 2023 is conducted with the theme “Powering a Climate Safer Future” with hopes of taking action to save the world from worsening changes in the climate.

IEEE MMU Student Branch as an organization under IEEE with ambassadors and leads for IEEE PES day hopes to invite you to a talk that showcases the career opportunities in clean and sustainable energy.

To promote inter-university synergy, the IEEE MMU student branch will be collaborating with IEEE Xiamen Student Branch. Here, we believe that change starts by encouraging young engineers to be aware of the growing need for sustainable development and their roles to help in this cause aligning with SDG 7 and SDG 13.
