This event was organised in commemoration of the IEEE PES day which has been running throughout the month of April. The event was planned and organised by Chimezie Egbuna, an ambassador of the PES day and Chinenye Chinyelu a volunteer. The event was organised for 82 pupils of Krosa Model school in amawbia, Anambra state. It aimed to expose pupils aged 12 and below to the importance of renewable energy and how it affects our daily lives, environment, and our existence on the planet Earth. Through this event, i hoped to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in renewable energy and promote sustainable living practices.

Overall, the PES Day event’s objective was to educate people about the importance of renewable energy in achieving a sustainable future and encourage them to take action to combat climate change.
