The PES CSAC leadership program will provide leadership opportunities to former PES SB chapter leaders and PES volunteers.

Goals

• Provide training to former PES SB chapter leaders to continue work forward as PES leaders.

• Provide leadership opportunities to former PES SB chapter leaders to continue work forward as PES leaders in country, region and global levels.

How?

1) PES CSAC positions:

• PES CSAC country representatives
• PES CSAC design team
• PES CSAC translate team
• PES CSAC web team

2) Support to connect PES volunteers and former PES CSAC members with PES Section Chapter leadership positions.

3) Support to connect PES volunteers and former PES CSAC members with PES committee leadership positions.

1) PES SB chapter regional coordinators

The PES CSAC team will have 4 PES SB chapter regional coordinators:

• R1-7 PES SB chapter regional coordinator
• R8 PES SB chapter regional coordinator
• R9 PES SB chapter regional coordinator
• R10 PES SB chapter regional coordinator

Period: 2 years

Selection process: Appointed by PES SB chapter coordinator and approval by PES VP chapters every 2 years. The PES CSAC team will start activities with PES SB chapter regional coordinators (2019-2020) appointed by PES SB chapter coordinator and approval by PES VP chapters. The PES SB chapter regional coordinators (2021-2022) will be appointed based on best activities of the PES CSAC country representatives in each IEEE Region.

Eligibility:
• PES YP (PES graduate student members, PES senior members, PES members graduated in last 15 years).
• PES student members.

2) PES CSAC country representatives

PES CSAC team will have one PES CSAC country representatives to each country with more than one PES SB chapter.

Period: 1 year

Selection process: Call for PES volunteer. Only PES volunteers with endorsement letter sent by PES SB chapter advisor.

Eligibility:
• Former PES SB chapter chair and former PES SB chapter leaders (vice chair, secretary, treasurer or another official position).
• PES YP (PES graduate student members, PES senior members, PES members graduated in last 15 years).
• PES student members.

3) PES SAC design team

Period: 1 year

Selection process: Call for PES volunteers.

Eligibility:
• PES student members.
• PES YP (PES graduate student members, PES senior members, PES members graduated in last 15 years).

In 2019, PES will appointed 3 PES CSAC design team members to start activities. However, PES will have call for PES volunteers to complete the PES CSAC design team.

4) PES CSAC translate team

Period: 1 year

Selection process: Call for PES volunteers.

• PES student members.
• PES YP (PES graduate student members, PES senior members, PES members graduated in last 15 years).
