On 25th March 2023,IEEE PES Student Branch Members visited the Electrical Power Generation Plant by using Municipal Waste (solid waste management plant) in Kagal Kolhapur District. The plant is operated by the municipal corporation and is responsible for the collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste generated in the city. The purpose of this visit was to understand the various processes involved in Power generation, solid waste management and to evaluate the effectiveness of the plant in managing the waste.
