As a part of PES Day 2023, IEEE PES Day Ambassadors organized the talk session with the remarkable speaker Mr.Abhinav R, Junior Research Fellow IIT Palakkad. It was held on EEE seminar hall,ASIET,from 2pm to 4pm on 26th April 2023.  The session was very knowledgeable and engaging.The excellent presentation style which is clear and understandable captivated the students.The session was on EV and renewable energy - technology , challenges and oppurtunities. The session started by the welcome address of Ms.Ananya Ajith V A,PES WIP Coordinator.Around 64  students attended the session which included IEEE and Non IEEE students. The session ensured that the attendees understood the society through an interactive session, the increasing demand for sustainable transportation and energy sources provides a strong impetus for continued innovation and growth in these areas.It was indeed a good opportunity for students to build up their knowledge about the power energy sector, understand the goal of society, to idealize the humanitarian values it echoes and the major role it plays in the development of a sustainable future.The informative session emphasised on the importance to recognize that the transition to renewable energy will not happen overnight. It will require a sustained effort over many years to build the necessary infrastructure, develop new technologies, and shift our energy systems towards cleaner sources. However, by working together and taking bold action, we can create a safer and more sustainable future for ourselves and for future generations. Later a feedback session where they shared their views on various aspects of the event was also conducted at the end of the session. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Mr.Sanchu .M, Vice Chair person,PES SBC ASIET.
