BEYOND THE GRID

IEEE PES SBCs of CEM,TKM and SCT organised an event ‘Beyond the grid’ ,a talk series. As a part of the event, the SBC conducted a talk session  on the topic ‘Electric Vehicle; The Unsustainable Urge To Make In India’ by Abhinav R , Junior Research Fellow, IIT Palakkad. The session started at 8.00 PM IST, on 18th April 2023.The speaker introduced about the pros and cons of Electric Vehicle. He also gave a clear insight on how electric vehicle contribute to the future and how it secure the environment. He also discussed about the benefits and why India need India  Electric Vehicles. He talked about how Electric Vehicle cause disaster and how to operate them properly. He also talked about ‘Ola', a business that is working on producing Electric Vehicle.  Participants cleared their doubts during queries session. The session was easily understood by everyone. The speaker concluded by discussing about the disadvantages of electric vehicle in India and about markets of Electric Vehicles in India.

Impactos De Fontes Renováveis Na Qualidade De Energia

Energy Efficiency Using AI

The webinar was about how Artificial Intelligence can be used for energy efficiency. The speaker shared insights about AI can help reduce the amount of energy used, hence slowing down the depletion natural resources and reducing the dependence on fossil fuels, and reducing the carbon emissions. This leads to a climate safer future.

Webinar on Renewable Energy
